The Recoleta neighborhood is distinguished by its great cultural spaces. Also is sleek, chic and classic Buenos Aires. It’s comparable to neighborhoods like the Upper East Side in New York and Leblon in Rio de Janeiro.
Recoleta neighborhood is one of the more affluent and safe districts in Buenos Aires. This downtown residential area has great historical and architectural interest making it an important tourist destination and a cultural center of the city.
Recoleta’s French-inspired brownstones are located around the corner from some of the city’s finest designer boutiques, art galleries, elegant restaurants and a robust cafe culture.
Bounded by the city geographical center and San Telmo to the east and ultra-trendy Palermo to the west, you'll be surrounded by beautiful parks and green spaces such as Plaza Francia, Floralis Generica and Thays Park offering many activities: botanic garden, zoo, picnic areas, bike paths and concerts.
You'll find literally everything in the surrounding area (5-20 minutes walking distance):

Recoleta In addition to historical monuments, it is home to the National Fine Arts Museum or Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, the National Library of Argentina, the Recoleta Cultural Center, and other exhibition venues.
Recoleta Cemetery is one of the main tourist attractions in the neighborhood. It was designed by the French architect Prosper Catelin, at the request of President Bernardino Rivadavia, and was dedicated in 1822.
Museums and cultural centers: Next to the cemetery is the former General Juan José Viamonte Shelter, administered in the past by the Recollect Fathers. When it ceased functioning as a shelter for the indigent, it was acquired by the city and converted into the Centro Cultural Recoleta, one of the most important exhibition halls for the plastic arts in the city. 150 meters away, across Libertador Avenue, is the el Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (MNBA), which holds in its permanent collection works of art by Argentine artists such as Berni and Seguí, as well as works by European masters such as Titian, Goya, Rembrandt, Gauguin, and Manet. To the east, along Posadas Street, is the Palais de Glace, which was, at the beginning of the twentieth century, an ice skating rink. It has since been turned into a multimedia exhibition center. Behind Carlos Thays Park is located the Centro Municipal de Exposiciones, which houses a wide variety of exhibitions and cultural events.
International Airport Ezeiza (EZE) is 50 minutes by taxi with normal traffic and Local Airport Aeroparque (AEP) is 20 minutes by taxi.
Subway is 2 blocks to new station "Las Heras" Line H and 8 blocks to "Aguero" Station Line D.
Buses Lines are in Av Las Heras with more than 10 alternatives to access main hotspots attractions in the city.
Parking Garage is just in front of the building (not included in apt rental cost).
Buenos Aires Bus Station "Retiro" is only 20 minutes by taxi.
